Extraordinary things can happen on the bubble. On the first hand in hand-for-hand-play in the day 1C field, one shortstack simply won with the better hand – A-K vs A-T, but the second hand was aces versus aces and the third one had the shortstack win with quads over nuts full house. Stories only poker can write.
But the second hand proved to be the last hand of the day for this field. This time Coban Ahmet, who was immensely short was forced all-in in the big blind. He had fairly good hand for this, A♦ Q♦. From the cut-off Elad Telva raised with K♦ 4♠ and after two folds the hand went to showdown.
The board fell K♠ J♥ A♥ 4♣ 4♥ giving Telva a full house. The room cheered and applauded as now all remaining 232 players are in the money. In addition to that, there will be 62 players from day 1D.
Tomorrow, day 2 is going to start with level 16 and 573 players still with the chance to win the whole thing. All we know for sure is, the winner will be in this room.
