Attention women across the world! The iconic €150 Ladies Event is back and once again sponsored by the women’s poker community FLIP and its founder Daiva Byrne as part of the 2025 Battle of Malta Spring Edition at Casino Malta and the connecting InterContinental Hotel Malta.
The Spring’s event will take place on the penultimate day of the festival on Saturday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. with plenty of action with many women already confirming their plans to enjoy the atmosphere while fiercely competing for the title.
This is not all, as all women are welcome to join for a complimentary lunch and cocktails before the event to get into the community spirit.
Cheng “Champagne” Tan had her fans watching her along the way as she brought the 2024 Battle of Malta Spring Edition €150 Ladies Event trophy home after defeating a field of 53 entries to win the €2,125 top prize.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition €150 Ladies Event broke festival records with 121 entries creating a tasty €15,218 prize pool to more than triple the €5,000 guarantee. Popular old-school Swedish poker player Gia Carnestrom walked away with the largest prize awarded in a Ladies Event at the Battle of Malta after winning the €3,860 top prize.
The Ladies Event has a long and strong tradition with players like Emma Oliver winning the event in back-to-back trips in the Springs of 2022 and 2023.
