Luigi d’Alterio was all-in against Catalin Moraru. Moraru had tens, but d’Alterio held the best possible starting hand in poker.

The aces held up and d’Alterio is now our chipleader with well over 3.5 million chips.

The players have just come back from the dinner break and the tournament directors announced that we will play three more levels today, one less than was advertised at the start of the day.

Still, we’ll be here until way past midnight, following the slow dwindling of the field and closing in on the big money.

The current payout is €2300.
