What’s it like to work behind-the-scenes on a massive poker festival like the 2018 Battle of Malta?
Well, when 3,816 entries show up and the prize pool hits almost twice the guarantee, it’s a bit overwhelming at first.
The crowds were slightly unexpected so everyone has had to hustle hard for 15, 16 hour shifts every day.
The reward, though, is an instantly memorable poker experience for both staff and players.
From the atmosphere to the organization to the hands at the tables it’s been a barnburner from start to finish – and it’s only getting more thrilling as we head towards the final table!
