Former WSOP November Niner Fernando Pons has not been able to make much happen on his 2nd day here and now he lost most of his stack to the Maltese local Shaun Decesare.
Pons opened from middle position with a min-raise to 16k with pocket tens.
Decesare shoved all-in from the small blind for 135k.
Pons called, getting decent odds.
Decesare turned over pocket queens and had Pons dominated.
The board didn’t improve Pons’ hand and now he’s down to 60k chips – less than 8 big blinds.
