That’s a wrap! Con l’eliminazione del player inglese David Lloyd il Day1G del Main Event del Battle of Malta va sui libri con 298 players qualificati al Day2 di domani alle 20 in attesa del Turbo Flight delle 10 di oggi. Tra poche ore.

Le entries totali sono salite a quota 5.105 dopo un sabato da 2.568 iscrizioni perché chiusa la late registration anche al Day1H erano 578 le entries totali per un super Half Price.

Anche in questo Day1 la fase hand for hand è durata tantissimo nonostante si sia arrivati molto vicini alla fase bolla poco prima delle 3.

👉 Nella mano decisiva Carmelo Contursi ha shovato 164.000 dall’Hi-jack, e David Lloyd ha deciso di giocare il suo stack di 61.000 per un call dal Big Blind.

Un classico coin flip con Contursi che aveva T♦T♣, e Lloyd ha mostrato K♣Q♣. Il board 3♠J♠6♣9♥9♦ non ha aiutato l’inglese che se n’è andato a bocca asciutta proprio sul finale.

Al comando finisce l’ungherese Krisztian Kis con 1.293.000 chips. Con lui si prendono il pacchetto da 1.500 euro per il Bom 2026 del ponte del 2 giugno lo spagnolo Victor Azanon e l’azzurro Battista Locati.

Molto bene il tedesco Alexander Neumann che era salito a 900.000 ad un’ora dallo scoppio della bolla e alla fine ha imbustato 964.000 gettoni.

Da segnalare Candido Cappiello, 11esimo per 750.000 chips, quindi Paolo Anselmo a 706.000 e Davide Iannaco a 671.000. Quest’ultimo nel Day1 del venerdì era salito molto deep ma dopo aver perso due cooler è uscito senza qualificarsi. Oggi chiude molto bene e può ripetere la sua deep run al Battle of Malta.
Si qualifica anche Cosme Martinez, il vincitore dell’edizione Autumn Edition 2024, ma con appena 65.000 chips.

Il suo feeling col Bom continua in maniera spettacolare.

Ad inseguirlo Dennis Stemmler con 1.078.000 chips. In top ten Macario Coglianese, Giovanni Capuano e Lorenzo Antetomaso, quest’ultimo sempre deep nel corso della giornata.

Si qualifica anche Simone Locatelli card dead nella fase finale ma che alla fine imbusta vicino alla media torneo con 267.000 gettoni.
