Limit Or No Limit Re-Entries?

That is the question. This is the first year that the Battle of Malta features the unlimited re-entries option. Considering players’ response to that, this option comes with the following major pros and cons.

Pros – more chances to play, bigger prize pool

Cons – favours players who don’t care about money

Across Day 1A and 1B, out of the 280 players who survived, 67 had taken at least one and 14 at least two re-entries. One player took three, one player four and one player took five re-entries.

Does this harm or benefit the tournament more? What do you think? Drop us a line on the Battle of Malta Facebook page. We’ll keep track of the matter and update you when there is no more re-entering.
