Michael Angelos
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 16: 4,000/8,000 (8,000)
Entries: 66/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Action folded to Michael Angelos, who limped the 8,000 Big Blind from the Button. Luigi D’Alterio made the call from the Small Blind before Marek Grzeska checked his Big Blind.
D’Alterio donk-bet 15,000 on the 9♣3♣7♥ flop. Grzeska made the call before Angelos raised to 40,000. D’Alterio made the call before Grzeska decided to get out of the way. D’Alterio and Angelos both checked the 4♦ turn. After another check from D’Alterio on the 7♠ river, Angelos bet 207,000; leaving himself with a mere 1,000 behind. D’Alterio decided to force his opponent all in for the last eighth of a Big Blind, and Angelos ultimately made the call.
Luigi D’Alterio: 6♥5♦
Michael Angelos: A♥7♣
D’Alterio’s straight was good, and as such, Angelos became the unfortunate bubble boy. The 66 remaining contestants all bagged their chips, and they have all secured their Day 2 seat.
That wraps up today’s live coverage. Stay tuned for the Day 1c chip counts.
Luigi D’Alterio: 745,000
Michael Angelos: 0
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 16: 4,000/8,000 (8,000)
Entries: 68/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Seated UTG, Carmen-Mariana Zainescu open-shoved for 109,000. Dariusz Maniecki re-shoved for a little bit more than 300,000 from the Hi-jack, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Carmen-Mariana Zainescu: A♠Q♠
Dariusz Maniecki: A♣K♠
Zainescu’s outs switched from queens to kings on the T♣J♣6♦ flop. The board completed with J♠A♥, and she was eliminated from Day 1c.
Dariusz Maniecki: 487,000
Camen-Mariana Zainescu: 0
€300 Mystery Bounty “Siege of Malta”
Level 31: 10,000/200,000 (200,000)
Entries: 10/1,131
Prize Pool: €163,316
The top €20,000 bounty has just been pulled in the Mystery Bounty by Poland’s Dominik Cybulski. It’s funny; two hours ago, this live reporter asked Cybulski, “You feeling lucky?” as he was just about to pull two bounties. “Sadly, not,” he admitted, and pulled two €200’s. Well, in the end, he got it. He’s also earned himself great presumptions to take down the title, playing a good stack with 10 players left.

Lars Stokke
€300 Mystery Bounty “Siege of Malta”
Level 30: 75,000/150,000 (150,000)
Entries: 14/1,131
Prize Pool: €163,316
We interrupt the €600 Main Event Day 1c coverage with a general update from the €300 Mystery Bounty. The 14 players remaining are just now resuming play after a 15-minute break. The current chip leader is Norwegian Lars Stokke with 4,900,000, and the top bounty of €20,000 still hasn’t been pulled. Exciting, to say the least.

Adrian Ziemichod
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 15: 3,000/6,000 (6,000)
Entries: 77/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
UTG, Marko Cosic opened to 13,000. Reigning champion Adrian Ziemichod then moved all in for 75,000 on the Button. Cosic made the call without the slightest hesitation.
Adrian Ziemichod: A♥K♣
Marko Cosic: A♦A♣
Unfortunate for Ziemichod, and he couldn’t produce a miracle on the 7♥4♦9♦Q♠4♠ board. Time will tell whether Ziemichod takes another shot for glory tomorrow in any of the two starting-day flights scheduled.
Marko Cosic: 526,000
Adrian Ziemichod: 0

Manuel Maganuco
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 15: 3,000/6,000 (6,000)
Entries: 86/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Seated in the Hi-jack, Laurentiu Avram open-shoved for 76,000. After receiving the count, Manuel Maganuco made the call from the Big Blind.
Laurentiu Avram: 9♠9♥
Manuel Maganuco: A♣J♦
It was a classic coinflip situation. Avram maintained his lead on the T♠5♠3♦ flop, and on the K♠ turn. For good measure, he improved to a flush on the 2♠ river, and doubled up through Maganuco.
Laurentiu Avram: 161,000
Manuel Maganuco: 147,000

Andreas Bjerklund
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 (4,000)
Entries: 92/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Andreas Bjerklund (who won yesterday’s €250 NLH White Knight side event) limped the 4,000 Big Blind from UTG. Florence Mazet made it 16,000 from the Small Blind, and Bjerklund made the call.
Mazet bet 12,000 on the T♥A♣6♣, and her Norwegian opponent made the call. Action repeated itself on the 9♣ turn, the only difference being that the sizing from Mazet was now 36,000. Mazet then check-called a 50,000 bet from Bjerklund on the T♣ river.
Immediately after making the call, Mazet tabled K♦K♣ for the nut flush. As Bjerklund mucked his hand, reigning champion Adrian Ziemichod (also seated at the table) chuckled, perhaps over the fact that Mazet picked up the Cowboys for the second time in a short period.
Florence Mazet: 525,000
Andreas Bjerklund: 125,000
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 (4,000)
Entries: 99/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
UTG+1, Bartosch Maciejek open-shoved for 15,000. Seated right next to her, Florence Mazet made it 35,000 from UTG+2. All other players got out of the way, and the two players tabled their hole cards.
Bartosch Maciejek: 5♥4♠
Florence Mazet: K♠K♥
It’s safe to say that Mazet was the favorite, but the A♠6♦3♣ brought some excitement. Maciejek picked up more outs on the 4♣ turn, but the 9♠ eventually sealed the deal in Mazet’s favour.
Florence Mazet: 369,000
Bartosch Maciejek: 0
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 14: 2,000/4,000 (4,000)
Entries: 103/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Action folded to Daniele Puccio, who opened to 10,000 from UTG+1. Jonathan Raab made the call from UTG+2 before Endre Nagy moved all in for 77,000. Puccio re-shoved for around 250,000; Raab contemplated his decision for a minute before letting his hand go.
Endre Nagy: A♥K♥
Daniele Puccio: A♠Q♣
Nagy had his opponent dominated, but Puccio couldn’t have asked for a better flop. He took a solid lead on 5♠Q♠6♠, and Nagy wasn’t able to catch up on the 2♦J♥ runout. As such, Nagy’s tournament life came to an end.
Daniele Puccio: 345,000
Endre Nagy: 0
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 13: 1,000/3,000 (3,000)
Entries: 110/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Pinhas Belezada opened to 6,000 from the Hi-jack. Daniele Puccio (Small Blind) and Jonathan Raab (Big Blind) both made the call.
All three brave warriors checked the 6♥7♣K♥ flop. After a check from Puccio on the 7♦ turn, Raab dipped his toes in the waters with a 12,000 bet, a bet that was called by both contestants. Action then went check-check-check on the 4♥ river.
Belezada tabled Q♠Q♦ and was awarded the pot. This live reporter has now covered two hands in a row where Belezada has picked up this specific premium pair.
Pinhas Belezada: 230,000
Jonathan Raab: 200,000
Daniele Puccio: 187,000
€600 Main Event Day 1c
Level 13: 1,000/3,000 (3,000)
Entries: 120/441
Prize Pool: €700,000
Pinhas Belezada opened to 7,000 UTG+1. Endre Nagy (Small Blind) and Grigorios Archontakis (Big Blind) both decided to make the call.
Action was checked to Belezada on the 5♠8♣T♥ flop, and he bet 11,000. Nagy made the call, while Archontakis surrendered. Nagy check-called a 16,000 bet from Belezada on the T♦ turn, before action went check-check on the K♣ river.
Endrey Nagy: 7♠7♥
Pinhas Belezada: Q♣Q♦
Pocket queens were good enough for Belezada to take down the decently sized pot.
Pinhas Belezada: 290,000
Endrey Nagy: 112,000

Entries: 136/441
Prize Pool: €700,000 GTD
Matteo Ferrara min-raised to 5,000 UTG. Emmanouil Livanos then put in a 5,000 chip, announcing, “raise”; he turned out to have missed Ferrara’s opening. As such, he was forced to three-bet to 7,500. The unconventional hand would soon get even weirder; action was now on Antal Mezei in the Small Blind, but Luis Marthino (Big Blind) accidentally acted out of turn, four-betting to 25,000. Once Mezei had the opportunity to make his decision, he moved all in for 81,500. Marthino made the call, and the remaining players got out of the way. That wrapped up the bamboozling pre-flop action; Mezei and Marthino tabled their holdings.
Antal Mezei: J♠J♦
Luis Marthino: A♥A♦
Just to put the cherry on top, Mezei cracked aces on the 4♠2♣8♥J♥7♣ board to double up.
Antal Mezei: 175,500
Luis Marthino: 54,500
€600 Main Event Day 1c

Luigi D’Alterio opened to 4,000 UTG. Seated right next to him, Kevin Whelan moved all in for 70,000 on the dot from UTG+1. Action eventually came to Mateusz Pieprzka, who moved all in for 27,000 from the Small Blind. D’Alterio folded, and the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Kevin Whelan: A♣Q♠
Mateusz Pieprzka: 9♣9♥
It was a classic coin flip confrontation, and Whelan took a solid lead on the Q♣7♦7♥ flop. The board completed with 6♠2♠, and Pieprzka’s tournament life came to an end.
Right before that hand played out, this live reporter saw reigning champion Adrian Ziemichod winning a massive pot with a full house. He now plays a very respectable stack.
Adrian Ziemichod: 209,000
Kevin Whelan: 105,000
Mateusz Pieprzka: 0

In other news, the €300 Day 1d turbo flight (which 7,5% will make it through from) are currently on Level 9 with 170 entries (79 players currently in). Late registration is open for another 45 minutes in that one.

Raffael Wilbertz min-raised to 4,000 from the Lo-jack. Marek Grzeska (Small Blind) and Ruggero Magri (Big Blind) both made the call.
All three players checked the T♦8♣6♦ flop. Grzeska bet 9,000 on the 4♣ turn; Magri folded before Wilbertz made the call. Grzeska sized up to 21,000 on the 5♣ river; Wilbertz relieved a heavy sigh before making the call.
Marek Grzeska: Q♣9♣
Raffael Wilbertz: 7♣7♠
One can understand Wilbertz’s call, having the blockers. Nevertheless, the pot belonged to Grzeska.

Vikentios Fisentzou opened to 3,500 UTG. Rasmus Lundström made the call from the Big Blind, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Lundström donk-bet 2,000 on the 5♠4♣3♠ flop, and Fisentzou made the call. Lundström kept the aggression going with a 10,500 bet on the Q♣ turn, and Fisentzou made the call once more. Lundström forced his opponent all in for 20,000 on the Q♠ river. After contemplating his decision for a minute or two, Fisentzou made the call.
Rasmus Lundström: Q♥5♣
Vikenitos Fisentzou: A♠J♠
A fortunate scenario for Lundström, who won the considerable pot and eliminated Fisentzou with a boat over the nut flush. What goes around, comes around; roughly one hour ago, Lundström semi-bubbled Day 1c of the €300 Mystery Bounty “Siege of Malta” with three-of-a-kind against his opponent’s full house.

It was another painless bubble for players, bar Matteo Viva, as he came off on the wrong end of this hand to be the last player to leave the Mystery Bounty empty-handed, this being the last starting flight.
Viva jammed for around 65,000, and was looked up by Angelo Vietti in the big blind.
Matteo Viva: J♠J♥
Angelo Vietti: Q♣8♦
Viva looked in good shape versus a solitary overcard, and the K♥7♠5♣ flop was clear. However, the Q♠ hit on the turn in cruel fashion, and the A♣ river completed the board.
Angelo Vietti – 345,000
Matteo Viva – 0
