€600 Main Event Day 3 Recap
Only 75 players returned for the third day of combat, led by Ugnius Vestertas of Lithuania, and with all players having guaranteed a minimum €2,000 payday. The knockouts came thick and fast, with Roar Aspas and Matiss Celmins among those to exit quickly.
Vestertas would ultimately hit the rail in 26th, and by halfway through the day, Censabella had soared to the top of the standings, and was joined by Passias by the conclusion of the flight. Players such as Theodoros Ampelikiotis, Erland Kalstad and Marko Grujic fell towards the end of play.

Angelo Censabella
Florence Mazet (3,375,00) is the last woman standing, while Mark Vella (4,215,000) is the final home hope still in the mix, while there are three Greeks and five Italians represented in the penultimate day.

Grande moved all in for roughly 1,500,000 on the K♠ river; Passias made the call faster than the speed of lightning.
Gianmarco Grande: K♥K♣

Start of day chip leader Ugnius Vestertas was on the wrong end of a kings versus aces cooler in the last hand before dinner break, resulting in him doubling-up Joao Da Silva for 1,625,000, the board reading 6♦4♣3♥7♠6♣
Joao Da Silva – 3,800,000

Battle of Malta Summer Edition
The final side event of the day, the €150 Hyper Turbo, kicks off at 9 p.m.
Players begin with a 15,000 starting, and ten-minute levels in play, and late registration open until the start of Level 11.

€1,100 STAR YES High Roller
Level 22: 6,000/12,000 (12,000)
Entries: 31/232
Prize Pool: €218,080
Action folded to big-stacked Joona Nyholm, who moved all in for about 1,000,000 on the Button, having the players to the left of him covered. Action folded to Romain Nardin in the Big Blind, who looked at one of his cards. “First one is good,” he said to Nyholm. After looking at the other one, he snap-called. Once the action concluded at all the other tables (seeing as it was hand-for-hand on the bubble), the players were given the green light to table their holdings.
Joona Nyholm: A♦4♦
Romain Nardin: K♠K♥
The 7♦8♦6♠ wasn’t the worst one for Nyholm. The cowboys of Nardin was still in the lead on the J♠ turn, but the 5♦ river ultimately sealed the deal. Nyholm had the nut flush, and the kings of Nardin were no good. As such, Nardin became the unfortunate bubble boy in the €1,100 STAR YES High Roller, and the remaining 31 players are now all in the money. They’re guaranteed a €1,900 min-cash, and they’re fighting for the €46,180 first-place payout. Joona Nyholm seems to be second in chips at this moment with 1,170,000; Giuseppe Mazza-Boussemart seems to have about 200,000 more.
Joona Nyholm: 1,170,000
Romain Nardin: 0

There was an open from Marko Cosic, and a call from Angelo Censabella on the button, before Audrius Daugvilavicius produced a three-bet to 650,000 from the small blind.
Cosic folded, but Censabella back-jammed with the covering stack, and Daugvilavicius called off for his total stack of roughly 3,100,000.
Audrius Daugvilavicius: 9♠9♣
Angelo Censabella: A♠Q♥
It was off to the races, and Censabella spiked the river in cruel fashion on the K♠J♥2♠4♥A♦ runout. Daugvilavicius looked stunned as he gathered his things to exit the table. Cosic claimed he folded pocket eights.
Angelo Censabella – 11,200,000

Arnaud Boudet: 5♦5♣
Florence Mazet: A♠Q♣
