Daiva Byrne has become a mainstay here at the Battle of Malta, having hosted many of the €150 NLH Ladies Events in the past. The Lithuanian poker influencer, who founded the women’s poker group FLIP, will once again be the host for the €150 Ladies Event on Monday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.

This event will guarantee €5,000, but expect much more with many women on the island eager to win a title including two-time Ladies Event champion Emzy Oliver, who we interviewed briefly yesterday during our nightly walk-around.

This is not all as the event guarantees the top three players a BoM buy-in for 2025 and also there will be a special pizza lunch compliments of the Battle of Malta for the women playing before the event kicks off.

In the meantime, Byrne has opted to see if she can run it up in the Main Event after arriving to Malta yesterday evening. Byrne shared that she lost 4,000 on her first hand and hasn’t played many since we ran into each other.
