Mayhem erupted on Halloween with several players hitting the rail in the opening moments despite being 400 big blinds deep with a 40,000 starting stack.
Sweden’s Tony Kennheden lasted just one hand. The formidable Norwegian Linda Nguyen opened from under the gun and was called by two players including Kennheden and the player in the big blind.
Nguyen fired out for 600 on the 6♠Q♠3♣ flop. Kennheden jacked it up to 2,100 before Nguyen three-bet to 8,600. Kennheden four-bet shoved for the rest of his starting stack and was called by Nguyen.

Nguyen’s set of sixes was far ahead and she ousted Kennheden out on the very first hand after blanks came the rest of the way.
Meanwhile, Andreas Katsanis and Bartosz Brzezinski also hit the rail in the early moments. The trio have plenty of chances to get back into the mix today or any opening flight until Sunday for a chance at Battle of Malta glory.
