Today’s non Hold’em tournament is the first of three Pot Limit Omaha tournaments taking place during the series. It has recently begun and there are 38 players taking part so far, as they approach the end of the first level of the day. 

Just one player has busted so far and that dubious honor goes to Romanian Vladimir Cocis. But he’s back in again already on his second bullet, good luck sir! 

Also playing today is Joe Grech, the Maltese Londoner who now spends much of his time back on the island he grew up on. Earlier this year he changed his nationality on his Hendonmob profile from English to Maltese and as a result, he rocketed to the top of the Malta all time money list, having cashed for over $1.5m in his poker career, so far.

There are also a few Estonians in the field today, including Allan Arjut, a player who also sits on the board of the Estonian Poker Federation.
