The 64 players left in the Battle of Malta Main Event have now gone on a 75-minute dinner break. We’ll be finding out the updated chip counts of the leaders during this break and will post them before play resumes. 

Remarkably, defending champion Vasileios Zisis is still in contention, with a stack of close to 5m last time we checked. He has now gone past more than 7,500 runners without being defeated, including the 1,814 field he topped in April. Some of those runners might well have been himself though, as it took him a few starting flights to bag a stack into Day 2.
