As Stavros Passias left us in place 24 a couple of minutes ago, the remaining 23 players are now playing hand-by-hand on the bubble. It’s not necessarily the tight play that often is the case on the bubble, considering there’s a €5,000 paycheck to the one who finishes the day as the chip leader.

From the Hi-jack, Xhulio Kacka opened to 16,000 and was called by Salvatore Spina (Small Blind) and Konstantin Faerber (Big Blind).

Spina och Faerber both checked the K♥6♠8♣ flop before Kacka bet 20,000. Both players called and the exact same scenario played out on the T♣ turn. On the river 9♠, however, all three players checked.

Faerber showed K♦9♥ for the winning hand; Kacka revealed A♠A♥ in disgust as he had the lead all the way up to the river.
