While most of the attention at the Battle of Malta is focused on No Limit Hold’em, there is one event per day offered in non-Hold’em formats. Most of these are Pot Limit Omaha, but there is also a Sviten Special and H.O.R.S.E event. Malta has a thriving mixed games community, many of whom will turn up for these offerings.

The first event on the non-Hold’em schedule is the €220 (€200+€20) 4 Card PLO, which began at 3pm. There are currently 11 players and they are now on the second level of the day, with late registration open for 8 levels, closing at approximately 5.55pm.
