While the meat and potatoes of today’s schedule is clearly the Main Event, two of today’s side events are now well in progress.

Registration is now closed in the Omaha Knockout, with 18 of the 60 starters still four carding away. One of those still in the hunt is Joe Grech, who built a big stack early on and is now eying up a seat on the final table. Soner Vanelderen, the runner up in yesterday’s H.O.R.S.E is also still in contention, as are several other local players.

The €300 Betwin 360 is now on level four, with 34 of 41 starters still rocking their tournament lives. Late registration remains open in this until just after 8.30pm.
