The Battle of Malta Spring Edition is now set to move into Day 2 and all 233 remaining warriors are now preparing to face off once again on the poker battlefield. The total number of entries has been confirmed as 1,542. The prize pool is €776,397 and the breakdown will be revealed before Day 2 begins at 7pm.

Before play begins there will be another showing of the intro video on the 27m video wall that looms over the tournament floor. We’ll be following the action throughout the day, delivering the story of how the day unfolds.

We’re expecting a lot of early casualties, with up to a third of the field expected to lose their tournament lives during the first couple of levels. The exits will be fast and furious, but we’ll try to keep up.
