Battle of Malta Main Event Day 1a
Level 6 400/800 (800) has just begun and there are now 87 players in their seats with 111 entries so far. Late registration is open until the end of level 10, which will be at approximately 9.35pm.
Early exits on Day 1a included Alex Henry and David Lappin. Friend of the BOM blog and occasional guest commentator Fotios Ntamaris from Greece is playing today. We’re bound to hear something later about how his day went.
Mystery Siege of Malta Day 1a
Registration is now closed in the first starting day of the Mystery Siege of Malta. In total 128 players entered the flight, of which 77 remain in contention. Play will continue until 15% of the field remain, which means that 19 players will make into the money and will return tomorrow evening for day 2 and a shot at the big bounties. The second starting day begins at 7pm this evening.

The early starting Main Event satellite is still not quite over. It has a milestone format, so most of the 10 seats generated via the 100 players who entered have already been awarded. Just four players remain, fighting it out for the last two seats.
Today’s €220 PLO is now up to 20 entries and is now in the 7th level of the day, with registration open until the end of level 8.
The Dark Knight is one of the regular side events at the Battle of Malta. There are just two Dark Knight’s on the 2025 Spring Edition schedule, the first of which has just begun. It has a €200 (€170+€30) buy-in and is run on a 20-min clock.
