As the day begins to fill up, a few more familiar players have been spotted in the field. One such player is Frankie Boyle look-and-soundalike Andrew Hedley, who was intrigued about the half-price flight when I passed by his table.

Another player was explaining the concept, while Mr Picasso Churmasco (he has a lot of nicknames), the self-styled “most churming” man in poker (whatever that means) listened carefully, exclaiming “I’ve never heard of that before” in his distinctive Scottish accent.

If he doesn’t make it though on this bullet, I wonder if we’ll see him in tonight’s half-price Day 1d? Maybe, but maybe not, as he’s also here with his family for a short holiday. By the looks of it, he may have forgotten to pack his sunscreen*.
