Paul Rosu opened to 2,400 UTG, and Daniele Degennaro called from the Lo-jack. Then, seated in the Small Blind, Nicola Karl was under the impression that he was calling in a limped pot. The dealer made him aware of his error, and he was forced to correct his amount to 2,400. Last but not least, Miguel Avellana also called from the Big Blind.
All four players checked the 2♦4♣Q♠ flop. Karl then bet 3,500 on the 7♠ turn, and after a fold from Avellana, Rosu raised to 11,000. Degennaro swiftly folded, before Karl made the call.
Action went check-check on the K♥ river. “Sorry,” Karl said to his opponent before turning over his [Qc2s] holdings. Sometimes a miss-click can be a blessing in the skies, and this time, it awarded Karl the pot as Rosu mucked his hand.
Nicola Karl: 105,000
Paul Rosu: 26,000
