Walking through the arena, I heard voices from Table 14. I went over there and saw that the chatty Kristian Pervisic had opened to 7,500 UTG. He got one caller in the form of Karlo Finka from the Small Blind.

Finka check-called a 7,000 bet from Pervisic on the Q♥4♦6♣ flop. Finka checked again on the A♣ turn, and with a lot of confidence, Pervisic now bet 13,000. Finka folded, prior to Pervisic saying to his fellow countryman, “I’ll show you, because you are from Croatia.” He revealed his A♠J♥ holdings, and as the dealer pushed the chips his way, he noticed my presence and said, “I know you’re waiting for good content, but I can’t.” I didn’t understand what he meant; he’s quite the character, and on top of that, a jolly good fellow!
