Rosario Saddemi min-raised to 5,000 UTG. Anargyros Loizos – whom I met earlier this year in Thessaloniki during the 2025 Greek Poker Odyssea – made the call from UTG+1, before Kostantinos Grigoriadis bumped it up to 23,000 from the Button. Moritz Nedden then moved all in for what had to be around 30,000 from the Small Blind. Saddemi and Loizos both folded before Grigoriadis, naturally, made the call.

Nedden had a beautiful hand, but bad timing for him as Grigoriadis had picked up the goods. No dice for Nedden on the J♦6♥2♥6♦5♠ board, and he became one of the first victims after late registration closed.
