The Beer Poker Tour is getting ready to start, at 6pm. It’s a new addition to the Battle of Malta side event schedule and it’s a bit different to most poker events, in a good way. Not only does it have the lowest rake of any event on the schedule, costing €180+€20 to play, but there’s also lots of free prizes to be won. There’s no prize however if you’ve already guessed that those additional prizes are in liquid form and are very drinkable.

Beerpot Bonus Hands

At the start of every  new level, a beer voucher is added to the pot, making it a beerpot. The winner of the pot also gets a free drink, on the house! The fun also continues during the breaks, with a beer poing challenge for players to win additional beer vouchers, or a Beer Poker Tour cap.

And a special mention has to go to Merivan Hassan, the mastermind behind and operator of the Beer Poker Tour, as its his birthday today. Hopefully he has time for a beer or two while he hosts the tournament.
