They’re inspecting the ammunition as I write these words, which may well be my last. The cutlasses are being sharpened, the cannonballs are being lined up and somehow I’ve drawn the short straw of staying on the battlefield, dodging the arrows and the cavalry charges, to report from the front line on the massacre that is about to take place.

But I’m not alone, there’s a small, almost merry band of us, here to deliver the news, via a variety of mediums, written and audiovisual. Much of this will be found on the what they call social media, on the BOM’s facebook and Instagram pages, while this blog will serve as the most direct source of news, direct from the battlefield.

The first skirmish of the 2025 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition is already underway, a satellite into the Main Event and Day 1a of the €450 Mystery Siege is just about to get going.

Blog coverage will begin on Wednesday 30th October, shortly before the start of Day 1a, at 1pm. Until then, prepare your armour, get ready to raise your swords and when the signal is given, let  the Battle of Malta commence!
