The last hand I was able to cover today played out at Table. UTG, Nico Diperna spent a considerable amount of time in the tank. Eventually he was called the clock on, and as the timer approached five seconds, he mucked his hand.
The next to act was Giovanni Capuan, who also contemplated his decision for a good three minutes. With five seconds left on his 30-second countdown clock, he moved all in for 1,395,000.
The action was now on Jorge Rebolleda, who – you guessed it – went in the tank. Realising the fun side of things, Rebolleda called the clock on himself, and eventually, he mucked. The rest of the table folded their respective hand swiftly, and that concluded play for the day. Being a good sport, Capuan revealed his K♠K♦ holdings.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage: thanks to everyone who’s been tuning into the blog today. My eminent colleague Jonathan Raab will publish the chip counts as soon as possible. However, it can already be revealed Ioannis Daskalis is the chip leader with 15,950,000.
We’ll be back tomorrow shortly before 14:00 for the much-anticipated Day 4.
