Jan Gompers fancied an open to 250,000 from the Lo-jack. He got one caller in form of Roberto Di Giuseppe (Big Blind).

Giuseppe donk-bet 225,000 on the 5♠T♦8♠ flop. Gompers sent a “Don’t mess with me”-message with a rather swift raise to 625,000. Giuseppe considered his options for perhaps 30 seconds before making the call.

Giuseppe slowed down and checked the A♠ turn. Gompers continued the aggressive path with a 575,000 bet, and Giuseppe committed to the call. Yet another check from Giuseppe on the J♣ river, before Gompers put in fourteen orange chips, which translated to 1,400,000. At this point, Giuseppe had enough, and he threw his hand into the muck.
