A new record has been set in the Main Event of the Battle of Malta! When registration closed, 992 players had taken their seats in Day 1i, creating a new record field size of 6,039 entries in the 2025 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition Main Event at Casino Malta and the Intercontinental Malta.

This brings the prize pool up to a whopping €2,728,970. Payouts will be announced at the start of Day 2, but expect some massive prizes on the line during Wednesday’s live-streamed final table on Day 5.

Meanwhile, Day 1i will continue along with a turbo-charged 20-minute clock until there are 149 players or less remaining. They will join the others that found bags for at least a min-cash during the first eight opening flights for a shortened Day 2 at 8 p.m. This allows Day 2 players to enjoy at least the first hour of the player’s party which is close enough for players to also enjoy during breaks.
