Registration has just closed in Day 1g of the Battle of Malta Main Event. The final number of entries, subject to verification, is a staggering 1,989!  1,990 (they did find another player after all)

This is a single biggest starting day ever in the battle of Malta’s history and perhaps one of the largest starting days ever in Europe. We’ll have to check the record books and let you know where it stands in the single day rankings.
