Andreas Bjerklund (who won yesterday’s €250 NLH White Knight side event) limped the 4,000 Big Blind from UTG. Florence Mazet made it 16,000 from the Small Blind, and Bjerklund made the call.

Mazet bet 12,000 on the T♥A♣6♣, and her Norwegian opponent made the call. Action repeated itself on the 9♣ turn, the only difference being that the sizing from Mazet was now 36,000. Mazet then check-called a 50,000 bet from Bjerklund on the T♣ river.

Immediately after making the call, Mazet tabled K♦K♣ for the nut flush. As Bjerklund mucked his hand, reigning champion Adrian Ziemichod (also seated at the table) chuckled, perhaps over the fact that Mazet picked up the Cowboys for the second time in a short period.
