Maksym Ronshyn opened to 120,000 under the gun, and received a call from Hassibullah Hafizi in the next seat, before Alexander Geischlaeger three-bet jammed from middle position for 645,000.

Martin Rus was in the small blind, and he cold four-bet jammed for 785,000. Ronshyn folded, but Hafizi called, covering both of his opponents, to create a three-way all-in scenario.

Alexander Geischlaeger: 5♣5♥
Martin Rus: A♥Q♥
Hassibullah Hafizi: 9♥8♥

Geischlaeger was ahead, and he held across the 6♦4♣2♠7♣4♦. Geischlaeger had sat through the runout with his hands over his mouth looking pensive, but when the river hit, he leapt out of his chair, clapped his hands and shouted “Yes, Yes!”, understandably delighted with the crucial triple-up.

Rus won a 140,000 side pot against Hafizi.

Alexander Geischlaeger – 2,180,000
Hassibullah Hafizi – 1,350,000
Martin Rus – 280,000
