Jessica Vierling had crumbs, and was getting up out of her chair after her 2♣2♥ came off worst against Lubomir Jasica’s J♣7♥ on the J♥T♥8♠A♥T♣ runout.

In the next hand, Assi Levi opened to 4,000 from early position, and received a call from Jasica in the cutoff, before Andreas Heissenberger produced a three-bet to 13,000 on the button.

Levi folded, but Jasica called to see the A♣5♣3♥ flop. Jasica check-raised to 17,500 versus a continuation bet of 8,600 from Heissenberger, who called.

The 9♣ hit on the turn, and Jasica jammed with the covering stack. Heissenberger quickly got his remaining 27,500 into the middle, but thought he was in trouble, saying “You have the flush, yes?”.

He was delighted when Jasica tabled J♣T♦ for air, with Heissenberger well ahead with A♦Q♥. The 5♥ river completed the board and was not the club Jasica required, sending Heissenberger the double-up.

Andreas Hessenberger – 123,000
Lubomir Jasica – 32,000
