Andre Djuric opened to 2,500 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet to 7,500 from Ferenc Vardai on the button.

Djuric called to see the J♥8♦4♦ flop, where he check-raised to 20,000 in the face of a continuation bet of 7,500 from Vardai.

Vardai quickly jammed for 30,600 total, and Djuric promptly made up the difference.

Ferenc Vardai: Q♣Q♠
Andre Djuric: J♠T♠

Vardai was in great shape with overpair queens versus Djuric’s top pair, and the K♠6♥ runout confirmed his double-up.

The players have been sent on a 30-minute break.

Ferenc Vardai – 76,200
Andre Djuric – 128,000
