Battle of Malta Slovakia

€400 Main Event Day 1a
Level 4: 200/500 (500)
Entries: 378/458
Prize Pool: €400,000

Christian Papai moved all in from middle position for 8,600, and was looked up by Vitalij Boltenkov in the big blind.

Christian Papai: 6♥6♣
Vitalij Boltenkov: A♠Q♣

It was off to the races, and the ace was in the window on the A♦K♦5♥ flop to put Boltenkov in front.

The 2♥ turn was a brick, and Papai was up out of his chair. The stand-up trick worked as Papai drilled a two-outer on the 6♦ river to survive.

Christian Papai – 18,400
Vitalij Boltenkov – 44,000
