Battle of Malta is delighted to announce that there will be a live stream throughout the €1 million guaranteed Main Event which is running October 25-30 at Casino Malta.
For the first four days of the tournament, coverage will involve a single fixed camera with full graphics. On October 30 – the day of the final – there will be five cameras in action with full commentary, making sure viewers don’t miss a thing as the prestigious tournament plays down to a new Battle of Malta champion. Every day will be cards-up with a half hour delay.
The live stream is being run by leading poker tournament broadcaster HDPokerStream. Co-founder Heimar Lill said: “In total, we’re going to be live streaming for up to 60 hours across the six days of the tournament. It’s a very exciting project for us and we’re really looking forward to it.”
The stream will have a full RFID system for displaying players’ hole cards and community cards. In the breaks, viewers will be able to watch recorded video highlights from earlier days as well as special footage from Battle of Malta host Laura Cornelius.
Viewers can watch the stream on the Battle of Malta website, on the BOM facebook page and also on Twitch. External sites will also be able to show the stream on their pages using special embed codes and the stream will also be on the 888poker and MPN facebook pages.
HDPokerStream has covered dozens of tournaments to date including major events for 888poker, MPN, Olybet, Casino Malta, Paf, NordicBet, Unibet, the Estonian Poker Federation, Tonybet, Grosvenor Poker UK and Aspers Casino.
