You think past Battles of Malta have been big? Wait till you get a look at 2018.
The best-value low buy-in poker festival in Europe will be the biggest it has ever been in 2018 with package pre-sales already eclipsing all previous years … combined.
You read that right:
A festival that broke its own record for biggest poker tournament on Malta 6 consecutive times has now sold more packages for 2018 than it has for all previous years combined.
That number is already over 700 and still climbing. You can guess what that means for this year’s Main Event prize pool (already guaranteed at €1m, twice last year’s) and expanded schedule of side events:
Some lucky BoM players are gonna get paid. Big time.
New Venue, New Host, New Energy
The 2018 Battle of Malta Festival (running Oct. 25-30) will see more poker players stream through its doors than ever before so it’s a good thing it also has a new venue – the largest 5-star Hotel in Malta.
The spectacular 3,000 m2 Eden Arena at the InterContinental Hotel will play host to this year’s festivities thanks to the Battle of Malta’s new ownership group, Eden Leisure Group (ELG).
Big event, big space.
ELG owns Casino Malta, the 5-star InterContinental Hotel, the Holiday Inn Express and the InterContinental Arena Conference center which means 2018 BoM attendees will be able to take advantage of all it has to offer, from spas to pools to restaurants to nightlife to the biggest casino floor in Malta.
The tournament room itself will host 140 tables, 70 more than last year! With streamlined registration and improved traffic flow along with it, more players will get a shot at those massive BoM prize pools than ever before.
The Eden Group’s widespread reach across other gaming venues in Italy, Spain and even Bulgaria has already produced dozens of satellite winners and created unprecedented buzz in Southern Europe.
With another strong turnout coming from Scandinavia and package pre-sales exploding, the 2018 BoM Festival is set up to smash Maltese poker records yet again.
