“Q – What Are You Doing Here?”

This was not only one of the most famous lines of Captain Picard in Star Trek, it was also something we heard players say often in the past when they tried to register.

Now with the move to the Intercontinental the situation has become a lot more relaxed. There are now several entrances and registration points so the process has become much smoother.

Sure, there are still people queueing, but we’ve rarely seen more than 15 people waiting. However, you can avoid queueing altogether if you get your ticket one day before the tournament starts.

The registration desks are open from 10 AM all day, but if you want a tip: Go between 3PM and 5 PM or after 8 PM. These are the quieter times and you should have no problem getting your ticket quickly.

If you, however, think it’s a good idea to get your ticket right before the start, you might be in for one of Q’s mean little tricks and lose some precious tournament time.
