During the last break Fabrice Soulier was among the chip leaders.
We don’t know exactly what happened but over the course of the last level he lost quite a few chips and only had 87k when we came to his table.
But he just doubled up in a big hand against Nicola D’Aquaro. Soulier open-raised from late position to 5.5k and D’aquaro shoved all-in for a bit more than 100k.
Soulier called within seconds.
Showdown
Soulier: Q-Q
D’Aquaro: A-J
Board: 4-T-3-K-6
The Frenchman’s queens held and he doubled up to almost 200k. D’Aquaro, meanwhile, is almost out and will need a miracle to survive this day.
