There are two side events today, and judging from past and present experience, you better hurry up to play them.
We’ve said it before – without women, the Battle of Malta wouldn’t be the same. It wouldn’t even be here. So today, they will take the stage in the Ladies Event.
This tournament is a €100+10 Freeze-out with 20,000 chips starting stack and 20 min levels. Oh, and in case you think it’s smart/funny to try and register even though you’re not a woman – it’s not. Don’t even argue with us about it.
At 6 PM, we’re starting the clock on the only PLO event on this year’s schedule. It’s a €150+15 double chance tournament, so you can one more go if the variance kicks you out early. Which, we’re told, tends to happen in PLO.
Further down the line, there’ll also be the BOM High Roller event, the EPS Battle, the MPNPT Battle and, of course, the famous “Siege of Malta”, which was the BOM’s first side event and has traditionally become the second largest event of the series. More on that later.
