Players come to Malta to play in this event from all over the world. Here’s proof.
Players from 55 countries participated in this year’s Battle of Malta, including players from Libya, India, China, Brazil, the US and Algeria. The Battle of Malta in fact is one of the most international tournaments there is.
The largest group – by far – are the Italian players. 631 Italians came over here to play the BOM. With 298 players the Israeli fraction is the second biggest one.
The player who had the longest trip to get here hails from Australia, while there are also rather exotic participants from places like Sri Lanka, The British Virgin Islands, Swasiland, and Abhasia.
