Battle of Malta is teaming up with 888poker, one of the major sponsors of this year’s event, with an amazing competition to win an iPhone 11.

Do make sure you have an 888poker account set up before this year’s €1 million guarantee Main Event starts though, as only players who are already on 888 will be eligible to win the prize. It’s easy to sign up so don’t delay on that! Then all you have to do is keep your fingers crossed: the iPhone 11 prize will be awarded to the first player in the Main Event to hit a Royal Flush of spades using both their hole cards.

The new iPhone 11, which was released at the end of September and retails for around €800, has been getting rave reviews in the tech and consumer press and is Apple’s most powerful phone to date. The Verge wrote: “They have excellent battery life, absolutely beautiful displays and a new camera system that generally outperforms every other phone.”

Battle of Malta Event Director Diane Fenech said: “This really is an amazing prize and huge thanks to 888poker for making this competition possible. Landing a Royal Flush in a major tournament is thrilling enough – but the added bonus of winning an iPhone 11 as well is certain to cause ripples right around the tournament area.”

With over 10 million registered members worldwide, 888poker is the fastest growing online poker room, with a new player signing up every 12 seconds. 888 is renowned for its award-winning promotions, huge progressive jackpots and friendly poker community. A slew of 888 Ambassadors are attending Battle of Malta this year including 2014 WSOP Main Event champion Martin Jacobson, Sofia Lovgren, Ana Marquez, Daria Feshchenko and Vivian Saliba.

This year’s Battle of Malta – which takes place October 15-22 at the InterContinental Conference Centre – is set to be the biggest yet. There were 3,816 entries for the 2018 Main Event making it the largest poker tournament ever held in Malta.
