With the players getting closer to big payout jumps, the play has slowed down considerably. Maybe the players need a few more coffees, to get up to speed.
We just witnessed a hand that took more than ten minutes.
It began with Giulio Di Salvo raising from the button. Alexis Roch defended in the small blind and they saw a flop: Q♠7♦4♥.
Roch bet out 75k and Di Salvo called.
Turn: 4♣ – Now Roch checked and Di Salvo made it 150k. Roch took his time and eventually min-raised to 300k. Di Salvo called after some long deliberation.
River: 3♦ – Roch bet again, this time all his chips, roughly 500k. To this action, Di Salvo folded his hand almost instantly and left us wondering what he might have had.
Alexis Roch – 1,300,000
Giulio Di Salvo – 900,000
Right around the same time, Doron Peretz hit the rails – unfortunately, we didn’t catch his hand.
