The €1.5 million guarantee on the 2023 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition Main Event has been demolished on Sunday with 597 more entries getting into the mix on the final opening flight in the turbo Day 1f to bring the total up to 3,432 entries for a massive €1,728,012 prize pool.
Players will be battling it out for a bit longer during Day 1f, after which we will post the ending chip counts from that flight along with a seat draw not too much later for Day 2 which kicks off today at 7 p.m.
A massive thanks to all of the players who helped make the Battle of Malta a huge success once again and we look forward to seeing who will enter their name into the Battle of Malta history books as the latest winner with four more days of exciting poker action.
The evening’s turbo Day 1e recently concluded after the field of 279 entrants was whittled down to just 39 players, each advancing to Sunday’s Day 2 in the money.
Those looking to still get into the €1.5 million guaranteed Main Event will have one more shot to do so with the turbo Day 1f, boasting 20-minute blind levels, kicking off on Sunday at 10 a.m. Players surviving any of the opening flights will meet again for Day 2 on Sunday at 7 p.m. in hopes of positioning themselves to make Wednesday’s eventual final table.
Check out all of the chip counts from the turbo Day 1e flight before.

We just confirmed with the tournament director that blinds will roll back to start tomorrow’s Day 2 to 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 big blind ante. This is due to Day 1a ending on this blind level.
Blinds also increase to one hour in length to provide an even deeper structure the rest of the way.
Late registration is closed for the turbo Day 1e flight. An impressive total of 279 entries got into the mix with 39 of those players slated to head into tomorrow’s Day 2 already in the money.
This isn’t the last chance saloon as that takes place tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. with the final opening flight in the turbo Day 1f.
The turbo-charged Day 1e has kicked off with a field of 70 entries. Several players are giving it another go after failing to advance to Day 2 in prior opening fields including Roberto Aprile, Albert Sapiano, Shaun Decesare, and Constantinos Miaris.
Best of luck to all of the Day 1e players. We will provide another update after late registration for this flight concludes along with the final chip counts from this opening flight at the end of the evening of play.
