There was around 4,000 in the pot when Joan Carillo, Luca Lentini, and Fabio Aprile all checked the 7♥9♥8♣ flop before Carillo checked again on the 2♦ turn.

“Three,” Lentini stated as he tossed a blue 5,000-denominated chip and announced.

There was a small bit of confusion and Carillo, who already chipped up nicely, wanted to know if it was 300 or 3,000. Lentini insisted he meant 3,000.

The floor was called and took a look at the pot before determining the bet was indeed for 3,000. The table appeared comfortable with the ruling and both Aprile and Carillo folded.

“If it was 300, I am obviously calling,” Carillo shared with us.
