Local hero Brian Calleja bet 4,000 into a pot of around 10,000 with the 6♥7♣9♠7♠ on the board after the turn and was called by French poker beast Antoine Talvard.

The A♠ river completed the board and Calleja jammed for 13,100. Talvard went into the tank for about 20 seconds before he called.

Calleja turned over the A♦9♣ and gently tapped the table in delight when his top two pair proved to be good enough to double through Talvard who showed the A♥8♦.
