All the Day 1 action is now complete, and Day 2 is set to run in just about 15 minutes. There were 511 qualifiers for Day 2 from the huge starting field of 3,432 and Tayfun Rodoplu is the big stack in the money, but it’s worth noting that among the top 15 players for Day 2 is the winner of the very first Battle of Malta, Julien Stropoli, who has just shy of 500k to start the day.
Day 2 is scheduled to last seven one-hour levels starting at 7 pm this evening and in addition to Day 2, the players’ party is set to run at Paranga Beach, just down the street from Casino Malta. As a result, live reporting will pick up around 8 p.m. for tonight’s game.
