Grassroots poker has arrived to Malta in a huge way with Redtooth Poker bringing tons of poker players from their community to compete in the Malta52 events at the 2023 Battle of Malta.

There are 52 players in the opening event, an appropriate number considering the Malta52 brand. This is not all, as all 52 players start off with 52,000 in chips with blinds increasing every 20 minutes.

Players qualified through various Redtooth poker paths and it is only open to qualifiers. Paul Baker, James Middleton, Spencer Owen, Andrei Popa, and Caroline Quinn are among the players in action in the opening Malta52 event.

There is a whopping €12,500 in the prize pool with today’s winner of the opening event going home with a tasty €5,000 top prize.
