Among the players in this huge Day 1d today is Canadian Kelly Gall. He’s played most of his poker in southern Alberta in Canada, but he recently picked up the biggest score of his life with an epic run in the WSOP Seniors’ bracelet event at the 2023 series. He made it all the way to heads-up play, ultimately having to settle for second place for $134,643. He also has nine career wins in various tournaments in Alberta and Las Vegas.

For the last few months, he’s been on the road doing a tour of European poker spots including the UK and now Malta. While his Day 1d today wasn’t successful, no doubt he’ll still be looking for another big score here this week.
