The FLIP (Fantastic Ladies in Poker) Ladies Event has concluded, with Cheng Peng Tan from Singapore defeating 52 other fantastic ladies to take down the trophy and the €1,960 first prize.  It was an exciting tournament and was live-streamed from start to finish, with the exception of the stage where there were nine players left, as the live-stream table here is set up for eight-handed play.

Cheng Peng, who’s nickname is Champagne took the title after a cautious heads-up encounter with none other than Battle of Malta host Patrisha Rimfire. Patrisha had previously made the final table of the last Ladies Event at the Battle of Malta, but played a stronger game this time around, getting oh so close to her first tournament win, but just coming up short in the final stage of the tournament. 

Despite going into the final as the shortest stack of the last eight, Patrisha held her own and slowly climbed her way up the chip charts. After scoring a double elimination with four players left, she held a 2-1 chip lead over Cheng. But Cheng had he poke gods on her side and was able to regain the lead and eventually took the title when her A♣4♦ v held against Patrisha’s K♥9♣.

Also on the final table and going for her third Battle of Malta Ladies win in as many years was Emma “Emzy” Oliver, but she was unable to complete her hattrick, exiting in 5th.

FLIP (Fantastic Ladies in Poker) Ladies Event si è concluso con la conquista del titolo da parte di Cheng Tan, dopo un torneo entusiasmante che è stato trasmesso in diretta streaming dall’inizio alla fine, con l’eccezione della fase in cui sono rimaste nove giocatrici, dato che il tavolo del live stream è impostato per il gioco a otto mani.
Cheng ha conquistato il titolo dopo un cauto incontro in heads-up con il padrone di casa del Battle of Malta, Patrisha Rimfire. Patrisha aveva già raggiunto il tavolo finale dell’ultimo Battle of Malta, ma questa volta ha giocato una partita più forte, arrivando così vicina alla sua prima vittoria nel torneo, ma non riuscendo a raggiungere la fase finale del torneo.
Nonostante sia arrivata in finale con lo stack più basso tra gli ultimi otto, Patrisha ha tenuto duro e ha scalato lentamente la classifica delle chip. Dopo aver ottenuto una doppia eliminazione con quattro giocatori rimasti, aveva un vantaggio di chip di 2-1 su Cheng. Ma Cheng ha avuto un poke gods dalla sua parte ed è stata in grado di riguadagnare il vantaggio e alla fine ha conquistato il titolo quando il suo Ac4d v ha resistito al Kh9c di Patrisha.
Al tavolo finale c’era anche Emmzy (Emma) Denise Oliver, alla ricerca della sua terza vittoria nel Battle of Malta Ladies in altrettanti anni, ma non è riuscita a completare la sua tripletta, uscendo al quinto posto.
