Battle of Malta Returns May 31 to June 6 Mark your calendars as the iconic Battle of Malta will return to the luxurious Casino Malta and the adjoining five-star InterContinental Malta on May 31 to June 6. The highlight of the Spring edition of the Battle of Malta is, of course, the Battle of Malta Main Event, which boasts a tasty €500,000 guarantee for just a €600 (€530 + €70) buy-in. Last year the Battle of Malta had some catching up to do with the festivals entirely moved to an online format in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and hosted two festivals instead of one in the Spring and Autumn for the first time. Italy’s Guiseppe Rosa etched his name into the Battle of Malta record books after defeating Stan van Dijk heads-up to win the €200,340 top prize. The Battle of Malta is designed for low to mid-stakes poker and grew into one of the biggest stand-alone live poker events in the world since its inception in 2012.
