The Day 1b field has grown to 156 entries at the start of Level 2. Five players surprisingly hit the rail on the very first level of the day including Nimi Cohen, Rawal Manesh, Mantas Ungulaitis, Gediminas Dirmantas, and Uri Gilboa.

Cohen fired four bullets on Day 1a before giving up after busting out on Level 7 and he along with everyone else still has plenty of time to get back into Day 1b with late registration open until the start of Level 11.
